LOTERIE ROMANDE BECOMES EQUAL-SALARY CERTIFIED FOR THE 2ND TIME

Jun 4, 2024

Vevey / Lausanne, June 4, 2024 – The EQUAL-SALARY Foundation is pleased to announce that Société de la Loterie de la Suisse Romande (Loterie Romande) has obtained the EQUAL-SALARY certification, a symbol of excellence in terms of equal pay, for all employees of Loterie Romande in Switzerland. After successfully passing the statistical analysis of its salaries, Loterie Romande underwent an internal audit entrusted to PwC proving that it applied equal pay and equal opportunities for women and men.

The EQUAL-SALARY certification is valid for 3 years, during which, the company undergoes two monitoring audits. After 3 years, if the organization wants to keep its label, it needs to renew the certification process with a new salary analysis and a full on-site audit.

“The EQUAL-SALARY Foundation is honored to certify Loterie Romande for the second time! Equal pay is not a game, and certainly not a matter of chance. This success underlines an exemplary transparency and ongoing commitment to equal pay and equal opportunities for men and women, which benefits society as a whole. In addition, this re-certification gives the Loterie Romande a valuable competitive advantage, enabling it to attract and retain talent and strengthen its reputation and credibility with its partners and beneficiaries. An example to follow!”, commented Lisa Rubli co-CEO of the EQUAL-SALARY Foundation.

“This certification process has strengthened our commitment to equality at every stage of the employee’s life cycle within our company”, added Jean-Luc Moner-Banet, Director of Loterie Romande.
